My Kindergartener!

Avi sat at the table working on this one morning. It's so fun to watch her enjoy what she's learning!

Millie's first week of Preschool!

Millie and I started her preschool this week and we had so much fun!

We worked on the color red, 

did some reading and singing,

worked on some gross motor skills with a game called "Put the fire out",

started to learn Genesis 1:1, her first catechism and made a craft for the first 2 days of creation,

 she went on a red toy hunt,

and finally, we made a red jello treat!

We put them in fancy glasses and she will serve them to the family tonight with some whip cream on top!

Tea Party!

A couple weekends ago it was one of those great days where you just hang around the house and work on things and play and just spend time with each other. I've been craving the simple, easy days now that Avi is in school. We decided to have an impromptu tea party with friends! I wish I could say I just whipped up the cake, but Stater Brothers did it for me.

Ladybugs

We recently bought a bag of ladybugs to help get rid of aphid. Millie loved watching them and letting them crawl all over her.

Baking Day

A few weeks ago, I spent the whole day baking and freezing foods so Avi would have healthy snacks to take to school.

These are the things I worked on:

Trail Mix

Zucchini Muffins

Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins

Fruit and Nut bars

Apple Sauce Bran Muffins

Granola Bars

Marinara Sauce (don't worry, this is not a school snack :))

Kale Chips

Fruit Cups 

Cereal

Putting baby to bed

After a little adjusting, Millie is really liking her alone time to play in the mornings now that Avi is at school half day. She will just play for hours by herself outside or I'll find her rocking a baby on her rocking chair. One day, I found her putting her doll to bed:

Camping Night!

A couple weeks ago, we took advantage of the beautiful weather, invited over the neighbors and Grandma and Grandpa and had a camping themed night.

We barbecued, made s'mores, popped popcorn over the fire and Avi and Brian slept outside in a tent that night. So much fun!
