Millie gets Baptized!

Millie accepted Jesus as her savior awhile ago and has been asking ever since to get baptized. We put it off for awhile wanting to make sure she really understood what she would be doing. She was persistent and seemed to get it so a few weeks ago, she did it!

We are so proud of you for being obedient to God and taking this first step in your faith Millie Mae!

We love you so much!

Lunch Time Fun

The girls went through a phase for a few weeks of wanting to have picnics on their beds during rest time. They had so much fun sharing with their guests! :)

Millie Mae's Birthday!

We are finally (I hope!) getting over what has been almost 2 months of off and on sickness around our house. We don't usually get sick - thank you God! but we have been passing around colds and fevers and stomach bugs for awhile now and it started on Millie's birthday :(
This is part of the reason why it has taken me so long to post these pictures. Unfortunately, her birthday wasn't everything we hoped for because she wasn't feeling well but we still managed to give her a little bit of fun!

It started of course with balloons in the bedroom and a gift under the bed! It was a love letter from Daddy asking her out on a date that had to be postponed due to not feeling well.

We had to see if she had grown in the night!

Our day started off with a mommy, daughter date. Breakfast at the coffee shop was the first stop.
We saw some friends there!

Then, her first manicure and pedicure! She felt so grown up!!!

Then she got her hair done!

I love the crossed legs :)

This is where the date ended. She was feeling too sick to keep going so she laid in bed the rest of the day. In the evening she opened gifts in bed with her sick sister :(

Grandma made her a wedding dress fit for a queen! Thanks Grandma!
Then she saw her frozen bike!

A few days later she felt good enough to have a couple people over for dinner and some Doc McStuffins games.

Vitamins, Swabs and Cottonballs

Pin the bandaid on Stuffy

She loved all her gifts and her Doc cake.
I think even with not feeling great she still had a wonderful time turning 4!

Catching up with Avi and Millie

We've been busy as usual around here lately. I'm finally getting around to this blog! Here is some of what the girls have been doing:

Avi is getting older. She asked to read magazines and listen to music with headphones the other day. I don't think this will be the last time I get a picture like this :)

Millie is still into Elsa. She bought this shirt with some birthday money.

And was pretty busy in her room one day applying the perfect amount of blue eye shadow to her face to look even more Elsa-ish.

Both girls were sick off and on for much of March and part of April :(

We made time for some princesses!

Avi loves making beds for Abi. I'm not sure how much Abi likes it.
