39 weeks!

I think I look as tired as I feel! This is also a pretty unflattering angle! I am 39 weeks today and the doctor said that he will induce me on Thursday if I don't go into labor before then. We'll be a family of 4 by Friday! Exciting and scary. I better get going on all those projects I'm supposed to be working on...

Snow Day!

On Saturday we were blessed with a random snow storm! It didn't leave much snow at all but it was beautiful to watch and gave us a great excuse to just have a fun day at home.

Our fun started off with window markers.

Then we moved on to games and stringing beads.

Then we decided to make muffins.

Avi made ate a fruit loop necklace and did some coloring.

Of course there was time for a movie and a snack!

We finished off the day with my niece's 10th birthday party. I love how Avi is just one of the girls!

Valentine's Day 2011!

We spent this Valentine's day just hanging out together as a family and we had a wonderful day! When Avi came down for breakfast in the morning she was surprised by a little box of fun stuff and a book.

For breakfast we had pink, heart-shaped pancakes with strawberries and whip cream!

After breakfast, we headed to the fish hatchery to feed the fish. Avi loves hanging out with her Dada!

After nap time, we headed to the frozen yogurt shop for a little treat!

Thankfully, Avi has 2 sets of grandparents who live nearby and love to make her feel special. She got special Valentine gifts from Nana and Papa and Grandma and Grandpa.

After Avi went to bed, Brian and I shared a nice dinner, dessert and a pretty stupid but sort of funny movie :)

I am so thankful that I was able to share a great day with the two people I love the most. Happy Valentine's Day!

1950's Night

Last week our church hosted an evening called "Dinner at the Diner". We all dressed in 50's attire and ate a great meal and played some games. Here are some pictures of Brian and I and our friends enjoying our bubble gum cigarettes and a few laughs.

Little Learner's Club - Valentine Party!

This week the LLC did an early Valentines celebration. Of course, we needed to put on a pretty outfit for the party!

The first craft we made was a Valentine for the Daddies. The kids had different paper, hearts, doilies, and stickers to choose from.

Next we made Valentine mobiles out of hangers, yarn, paper heart cutouts and a family picture. There are no pictures of the kids doing this one because they lost interest quickly and it become a mom craft!

Then we ate our Valentine feast and exchanged valentines. It was a fun celebration!
