These girls have fallen in love with Star Wars just like their Daddy. I guess I'll have to watch the movies at some point so I can understand the new language they'll all soon be speaking!

Avi and Brian have been playing with their new Star Wars Operation game. My home is being taken over by the force!

The Dentist

A couple weeks ago, Avi had her first real exam at the Dentist. She was very scared but she worked hard not to cry and sat still for her cleaning. She decided things would be a lot better if she laid on me while it happened!

She did great and was rewarded with ice cream afterwards! Shhh, don't tell Dr. Strand...

Avi is really a great helper. It's something we try to instill in both our kids and they love to be involved in whatever we are doing. Here is Avi helping with dinner:

Baby Playdate

This summer, my friend Shelly and I have decided to switch off watching the babies while the other one takes the big kids to the movies. I got to go to the movies the first week so this week was her turn. I got to enjoy the two little cuties.

Megan wasn't sure at first...

But then she decided to give playing a try. We did some water play,

some noodles and shaving cream play,

 "Here, let me help"

 "See! You could look like me!"

 "I'll get your back"

After all that, they needed a bath

And a little snack. I'm so glad Millie has a friend too!

Mojave Narrows Water Park

A couple weeks ago, Christina invited the LLC families to a day at the water park. Only 3 of us were able to make it but we had a great time!

The kids played on the playground, got wet and had a yummy cookie treat after lunch. It was a great day!

Two weeks ago, my friend Jen had a lot to do to get ready for vacation so I took the kids for the day.

They started off all playing together. There wasn't one fight the whole day!

Then we crafted and painted and crafted some more!

After making their own pizzas, we had ice cream sundaes and a movie

This is the moment Avi fell in love with Kaidan. It's serious... She kept asking me to go back in the other room.

We ended our time with blue, chocolate chip pancakes. Eisenbreys, we'll have you back anytime!

Unfortunately, times where Avi is being gentle with Millie are few and far between and we are working on it, but when one of the rare times does happen, I have to document it!

Cooking Class

Today we had our first Little Learner's cooking class which will hopefully happen once a month.

The kids made fruit kabobs with yogurt/whip cream dip, english muffin pizzas and vanilla pudding cups with vanilla wafers, bananas and whip cream.

The skill they worked on today was cutting with plastic knives. No one lost a finger!
