Time with Heggie

Every Friday we spend time with "Heggie". My grandma has dementia now and days with her are not always easy but last Friday, as I watched she and Avi watching Disney Jr. together and Millie came in from her nap and crawled up on Heggie's lap, I couldn't help but feel blessed to have this time with her. I don't know how much longer God will keep her here but she has been a blessing to me my whole life and now it is time to give back a piece of that to her. We love you Heggie!

Christmas Fun Countdown days 3-7

Day 3: A candle light bubble bath....

Day 4: Playtime with our new nativity scene and Christmas books.

Day 5: Candy Cane Playdoh with sparkles and peppermint smells!

Day 6: The Polar Express! Book and Movie...

Day 7: Um, candy cane cookies. Sugar cookies with smashed candy canes in them, shaped like candy canes - however, after baking, they no longer represented candy canes. They still taste good though!

And we FINALLY got to see Millie's stocking that my mom has been working on all year! I looks amazing! Thanks Mom!

Decorating for Christmas

Our Christmas fun for day 2 was decorating the house! Grandma and Grandpa came over and helped. Now we are looking festive!

Christmas Countdown!!

It's December and our Christmas Countdown has commenced!! We have fun activities planned for this month, but we started off with making a countdown paper chain and opening the December treasure box!

24 days of more fun to come!

Baking with my girls

This was the first time I attempted baking with both the girls at the same time. It went pretty good for the most part. Millie mostly stirred flour and chocolate chips in a bowl but she was so proud!
