Father's Day 2012

Happy Father's Day Daddy!

This Father's day we treated Brian to breakfast in bed and one of his annual t-shirts:

We spent the day just hanging out together and having fun. We love Daddy!!

LLC - Art Exhibit Preparation

Coming up in July, Little Learner's Club is going to be hosting our first Art Exhibit. Friends and family will be invited and the kids will get to show off some of their pieces. In preparation for that, we had an art day and the kids worked on 4 pieces.

Each  child received an art kit. In it was all the supplies they needed for their masterpieces!

The first thing we did was use different mediums (crayon, colored pencil, chalk and marker) all in the same color to create a picture:

Then the kids tried their hand at sculpting. They each got a pack of clay and went to work:

Then water color painting:

And finally, canvas painting. They were supposed to paint a picture of their family:

Sponge painting:

Finger pudding painting/eating:

Tried our hand at markers, crayons and pencils:

Made sound bags with beans, pasta and oatmeal:

Painted some more:

Played with our new sorting pie:

And of course got wet outside!
