Butterflies and Ladybugs!

A few months ago we ordered caterpillars and ladybug larva in the mail. The transformation of both was incredible! Our caterpillars increased in size everyday and eventually crawled up to the top of their home in a jar and began their process of transforming!

All 5 of them survived and emerged from their cocoons!

The girls loved watching them!

They even crawled on Avi's hand before flying away!

This is how the ladybug larva came in the mail. 

They grew and grew and eventually attached themselves to the wall of their habitat and began their transformation process.

Once they changed color we let them loose in the garden!

Pretend City

A few weeks ago, a friend and I took our kids to a place called Pretend City in Irvine. It was so cute! Everything was kid-sized. They had a cafe, fishing area, doctor office, dentist office, fire station, police station, garden, theater, a building room, a small replica of a real house, a grocery store and so much more! The kids had so much fun pretending!

Kidspace

I've been meaning to write about our trip to Kidspace for weeks now! We went over spring break and it was so much fun! There are so many learning games and activities, most of which are hands-on. I'll let the pictures do the talking. We can't wait to go back!
