Family Fun Night - Circus!

I am so excited to be back to Family Nights again! We did one when Avi was about 2 years old but she just wasn't that excited about it and it was too much work for a kid who didn't even care. I waited a year and now she loves it!

Our first one was a circus theme and some great friends joined us! The Molers dressed up as clowns and I doubt anyone noticed anything different!

Decorating the table was so much fun!

We made our own pizzas and did face painting.

While the food was cooking we did a tight rope walk and tried to balance beach balls on our noses.

For dinner we had mini pizzas, corn dogs, salad, fruit and of course, funny glasses!

Brian looks like he needs a cork on his fork!

Then Justin attempted to make some balloon shapes and the kids got snow cones, popcorn and cotton candy! They were on such a sugar high after all that!

 Jacob feeding Avi....so romantic!

Even the babies had a good time!

Thanks Justin, Shelly, Lauren, Jake and Megan for celebrating family with us! And, happy birthday Justin!

Birthday Party!

Last weekend, Avi's friend Sophia turned 3 and had a super fun birthday party at "My Gym". Avi had a great time doing all of the activities. She was having so much fun I forgot to get a picture of her with the birthday girl :(

Nothing cuter than a toddler wedgie!

Millie had fun too!

Even some of the grown ups had fun!

Unfortunately we had to leave before they cut the adorable doll birthday cake. This was one of those days where my heart as a mom breaks. Avi was having a hard time being nice to the other kids and we told her we could only stay if she was kind. It is always so sad to have to watch our kids experience the consequences of their choices but it's so much better for it to happen when she's young and it's a birthday party she has to leave rather than when she gets older and the stakes are higher. Still it was a sad way to end a really fun party.

Amelia Mae - 3 months old!

Our big girl is now 3 months old! I can't believe how fast it's going! She is still such a good baby. We feel so blessed.

She's smiling a lot and "talking" and is a pretty content little girl. She has rolls on her legs now which is the only time in her life when that will be cute! She sleeps well and flinches just a little when her sister comes around!

Here she is at 1, 2, and 3 months...

Carnival!

Last weekend we went to a carnival at my dad's school. Avi had a great time with all the bounce houses and the bungee trampoline jump thingy (it's offical name).

Did I say just Avi had a good time???

Hey, it's harder than it looks, ok.

10 Years!

So...Brian and I thought we'd be in Hawaii relaxing on the beach drinking margaritas for our 10 year anniversary. Instead we did the next best thing...dinner and a movie. Once you have kids, your life and priorities change and now, I'm just grateful to have a few hours together alone!

We made it a little more exciting by taking the motorcycle. I felt like such a biker babe!

Happy Anniversary my love!

Ballet and Tap Class

Have a mentioned that 3 year olds are challenging?? Well, this is what makes 3 year old girls pretty fun and makes all the challenging stuff worth it. She looks so grown up to me!

Avi started a Ballet/Tap class once a week for the month of June. She's really enjoying it and I think it's good for her to be in a class with some structure. She's about as graceful as an elephant but maybe that will change one day....maybe, but not if she's anything like her mom!
