In school we did a unit on Astronauts and space. This happens to be one of my dad's favorite topics so he helped out with the teaching!

They learned about space food and then tried a peanut butter sandwich and milk blended together to see one of the ways to eat in space. It was pretty disgusting!
Grandpa didn't mind. He'll eat anything!
Then they got to try some freeze dried astronaut food - grapes and ice cream sandwiches.
Much better!
Then we did an activity about the planets.
Space week was pretty fun!
