This is why I love being a stay-at-home mom. I can't imagine missing moments like these.

Garden Update

This year has been my first experience with gardening. Some things have done great while others died almost immediately. I was really surprised that I got almost zero tomatoes. It's usually something people get so much of they don't know what to do with it all! The 2 things that have done great is the butternut squash - it completely took over! And a lot of the herbs but especially the basil. Next year I'm going to try some things I didn't get a chance to try this year and see how it goes.

Fourth of July! Better late than never...

Just so my girls don't look back one day and think we didn't celebrate 4th of July, I'll post this now just 2 months late!

The girls got their annual outfits from Nana

Brian had to work so we swam at a friend's house then had pizza for dinner,

Red, white and blue popsicles for dessert,

painted nails,

did tattoos,

and mustaches,

and smoke bombs and sparklers!

then we watched fireworks from the back of the car with popcorn of course!
