Christmas 2010

Christmas just gets more and more fun each year as Avi gets older. She still doesn't really understand what is going on but she had a great time unwrapping gifts and playing with her new toys. On Christmas Eve we stopped by Nana and Papa's house so we could all get our Christmas pj's and Uncle Mark couldn't resist giving Avi her gift right then and there!

Then we headed over to my Uncle's house for dinner and gifts with my cousin's kids and grandma Heggie.

The next morning started off with much excitement as Avi got woken up by Grandma and Grandpa. That would have been enough of a gift for her! She came downstairs to find a rideable Thomas the Train that she fell in love with. The rest of the morning was spent taking our time opening gifts, eating breakfast and playing.

Nice morning hair!!

Riding Thomas in style!

Despite the look on his face and her indifference, this was actually a gift for Avi, not my dad.

Avi and Grandma playing with her animal habitat mat my mom made.

Taking a break...and now, the favorite gift. A set of miniature toy story characters!

After a much needed nap, we headed over to the Patterson's for more food and gifts. We also managed to get a family photo.

I hope your Christmas was as blessed and enjoyable as ours was!

  1. Looks like a fun Christmas. I had to do a double-take when I saw the picture of your dad. In that picture he looks just like Rick Sr.!
