Recipe

A few friends and I do a recipe exchange each month to keep our meals new and exciting and to cut down on having to come up with so many ideas each month. Here is mine for this month if anyone is interested in trying it. It's my sister's recipe and is soooo good! Enjoy!

Salmon Cakes
1 cup dried bread crumbs
3/4 lb. of cooked, flaked salmon (if you aren't a fish person, you can substitute the salmon for a can of black beans)
1/2 cup chopped red pepper
1/3 cup mayonnaise
1 large egg
1/2 cup mined sweet onion
parsley
2 T. mustard
1 T. lemon juice
1/2 t. garlic
1 t. Worcestershire sauce

Mix all the ingredients together. If it is too moist, you can add more bread crumbs. Form into hamburger-sized patties and dip into more bread crumbs. Refrigerate for 20 to 30 minutes. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan and fry patties 5 minutes per side. This should make 6 to 10 patties depending on how big you make them.
Serve over noodles and top with the following sauce:

1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 T. milk
2 t. mustard
1 t. worcestershire sauce
1/2 t. A1 sauce
mix together
